Mason Chapel (Huron NFS 4209) is a dirt road that winds back to a parking lot for a stone chapel along the South Branch of the Au Sable River. The trail leaves the Huron National Forest and ends in the Grayling Forest. This trail is not open to ORVs or dirt bikes. There are areas to pull off or pass.

Difficulty
This trail features mud puddles that hold water, and could be a problem if there is a lot of rain. The trail meanders over gentle hills, but none are steep.
History
The stone chapel was built as a memorial in the 1960s by George Mason's family after his death in 1954.
