FS 2253, also known as Scotts, is a single-lane sandy two-track. There is an area that can flood creating deep water and mud holes. This road could be closed due to high water. Make sure you have all the proper equipment/recovery gear if you decide to take on the challenge of this trail. There is limited cellphone service on most of the trails in this area.

About 1.5mi east of the western start there’s a sign that the road is closed. There’s a huge mud pit, see pic.

Its deep, and the skeeters were SO BAD, I found it wasnt worth losing that much blood trying to winch myself through. There is a sign warning the trail is flooded a bit after entering trail from the west.

Road closed sign wasn’t kidding. Drove through two 2’ of water washout crossings. Ended up at an impassable crossing for my can am SxS. If you have something lifted with ground clearance you can possibly make it.
