Croton to White Cloud offers a "back roads" option for traveling. This section of trail is primarily forest & seasonal roads. Although it is possible for a 2WD vehicle to travel this route be aware of recent weather conditions. There are several spots that are prone to wash out and hold deep water holes. This route offers a great way to enjoy the country and see what our public lands have to offer.

Saw Bigfoot, lol. Paid a lot of money for a tow truck to get me out of a huge puddle. My jeep isn’t stock and it still got stuck. Last mud puddle towards the end of the trail got me. Was fun until it wasn’t. Oh well. My fault. Live and learn.
