Trail Overview
This is a point-to-point trail. Like many trails in Michigan, this trail starts out as a two-lane road that has been freshly graded for logging operations. Roughly halfway through, this changes quickly. The trail becomes narrow, snug for even one vehicle wide. Soon after the logging area, the trail becomes VERY muddy. 4WD and a winch are a must, and I would advise not going alone. Towards the end of the trail, after the trail splits off to the right, drivers will come across a 200-yard section that is VERY swampy. It is a good idea to walk this section before proceeding. There is also the potential of a washed-out ditch at the north end of the trail. Portions of this route are designated "seasonal" and are closed during portions of the year. Check the DNR website for those specific dates.

Difficulty
The mud holes on this trail are very deep and long. At one point, the trail also crosses a marshy area. There is also the potential for a ditch crossing to be washed out.
