Tim Pass Loop

Trail Overview

Tim Pass Loop is a graded logging road route east of Eustis, Maine, off of "Tim Pond Loop Road / ITS 89. Encircling Black Mountain and Sawyer Ridge, this route can be run in either direction, as a loop combined with Tim Pond Loop Road or as an alternative route when following the "New Hampshire Border to Maine" route submitted by another user. This is an easy dirt road route suitable for stock vehicles. There are several opportunities for scenic views and offshoots to explore. Of note - the connection to Sawyer Ridge Road to the north is gated and is not accessible from this route. Logging vehicles have the right of way; they will not slow or stop. Be aware and ready to move aside.

This is an easy dirt road that receives occasional maintenance - the greatest risk would be a flat tire due to sharp gravel on the road surface.
