Trail Overview

Sinking Creek is a very scenic trail that features large rock walls and a few springs that feed out of the rock. The large variety of plant life almost makes it seem tropical in the spring and summer months. Along this trail there are a few obstacles that are a little tougher to navigate.

There was a bit of a muddy climb out of the creek that gets a little tight and technical when going west to east.

Rough/Deteriorated
We took this trail based on some previous reviews. However, it was just wet enough, and the rock ledges just high enough, that we had to turn around (when our lead vehicle's winch didn't work). A group of 2 4x4's heading the other way said that the trail had deteriorated quite a bit this year. Can't wait to regroup and go back this fall!
