Trail Overview

This trail features a mild hill climb that is gradual and manageable for most four-wheel-drive vehicles. The ascent is not very steep, making it approachable even for drivers with minimal off-road experience. As the trail progresses, it weaves between trees, with sections of overgrowth pressing in from both sides. While the path remains clear enough to follow, branches and brush may cause light pinstriping, particularly on wider vehicles. The terrain itself is mostly firm dirt with no major obstacles, rocks, or ruts to navigate.

Difficulty

This hill climb is very mild with no major obstacles. The only minor factors are light overgrowth and narrow sections between trees, which may cause pinstriping. Overall, it's beginner-friendly and easily managed by most stock 4WD vehicles.

History

This park was formerly known as Sandy Bottoms, and longtime visitors may still refer to it by that name. The access road and staging area have evolved over time, but it remains a well-known local spot for off-road events and community rides.
