Trail Overview
This is primarily a mild trail, suitable for most 4WD vehicles, but it does include one brief section that demands a bit of attention. As the trail drops off a small incline, it becomes slightly off-camber and steeper for a short distance, which can unsettle vehicles with lower clearance or longer wheelbases. At the bottom of this descent, you'll encounter a small mud hole with a firm base, making it passable under normal conditions. While no major obstacles are present, drivers should still be mindful of their breakover angle and approach line to avoid scraping or getting hung up.

Difficulty
This trail is mostly mild but earns a slight bump in difficulty due to the short off-camber descent into the mud hole. While it's manageable for most 4WD vehicles, drivers should watch their breakover angle and ground clearance. Overall, it's still beginner-friendly with minimal risk.
History
This park was formerly known as Sandy Bottoms, and longtime visitors may still refer to it by that name. The access road and staging area have evolved over time, but it remains a well-known local spot for off-road events and community rides.
