Trail Overview

This trail winds through dense tree lines and overgrown brush, creating a narrow, tucked-in path perfect for a slow and scenic crawl. While there are no major obstacles or technical challenges, drivers should be aware that several sections tighten considerably, with branches and foliage edging into the trail. Pinstriping is very possible, especially on wider rigs. The ground is mostly packed dirt with light ruts and soft spots, but nothing that requires lockers or high clearance. It's an ideal trail for exploring, warming up, or cooling down after harder runs, as long as you're okay with collecting a few brush marks along the way.

Difficulty

This trail is generally easy with no major obstacles, but it narrows through dense overgrowth in several sections. Drivers should expect tight brush and low-hanging branches that can cause pinstriping on wider vehicles. The surface is mostly firm dirt with minor ruts and uneven spots, especially after rain, but no technical driving is required. Careful navigation is more important than clearance or traction. Suitable for most stock 4WD vehicles, but paint conscious drivers should proceed with caution.

History

This park was formerly known as Sandy Bottoms, and longtime visitors may still refer to it by that name. The access road and staging area have evolved over time, but it remains a well-known local spot for off-road events and community rides.
