Trail Overview

This trail is generally straightforward, winding through open grassy sections with light tree cover. Along the way, you'll encounter a few exposed tree roots and uneven patches, but nothing that presents a major challenge. There are also a couple of small mud holes, though they appear shallow with a firm base. The terrain is mostly flat with gentle turns, making it a relaxed route for most vehicles. Overall, it's a calm and scenic trail that offers an easy ride with minimal technical demands.

History

This park was formerly known as Sandy Bottoms, and longtime visitors may still refer to it by that name. The access road and staging area have evolved over time, but it remains a well-known local spot for off-road events and community rides.
