Trail Overview
Wilde Canyon #5218 is an easy ATV trail that begins on Forest Service Road 50187, just off Slug Creek Road, near the popular Green Basin motorized trailhead. The south end starts in a grassy meadow with a marked entrance for 50-inch vehicles. The trail runs flat and straight across the open meadow before climbing gradually into low rolling hills. Though the path is faint in the beginning, it becomes more defined as it climbs, with soft dirt that can be dry and dusty. The route winds into the trees, passes through a gate, and continues between more rolling hills before ending at a wooden post at the boundary of private property. The trail must be ridden as an out-and-back, but offers an easy ride through scenic terrain.
