Trail Overview
This is an easy 2-mile segment of the St. Joe Divide NRT ATV trail that connects the St. Paul Pass Summit to the Lucky Swede single track and St. Joe Divide NRT single tracks. It's likely only ridden by dirt bikes because it only goes 2 miles and ends at two single tracks. It's a narrow ATV trail through the pine tree forest, on hard-packed dirt, with some small rocks and roots. It gradually goes uphill from east to west, but is relatively flat for a lot of it, with some tight corners through the trees. As you meander through the pine trees, the branches stick out in spots, whipping you as you go by, and in early summer there's a chance of still seeing snow or moisture on the trail, especially in the shady areas. This ATV trail is mostly used as an access trail for the St Joe Divide dirt bike trail, which is one of the highlights of riding in this area.
