Trail Overview

The Paris Peak trail is a fun single track from Paris Canyon Road to just below Paris Peak. There are some technical sections throughout and some fun, flowy sections. The trail culminates with a fantastic view of Paris Peak from the basin, followed by a final technical climb out of the basin to connect to the Paris Peak ATV trail that connects to Bloomington Canyon Road. It's common to find downed trees along the route as you go through the trees. Some sections with rocky climbs can be challenging. Riding this trail from Paris Canyon south to Paris Peak is much more complex than riding south to north from Bloomington to Paris Canyon. The difficulty rating is based on riding North to South.

Difficulty

Riding North to South has multiple technical sections to get through. There are three climbs that are the hardest. The first is through a rocky section with multiple obstacles as you climb up a wash. The second is the first as you climb out of the basin. It is very loose and rutted with a few hidden rocks in the trail. The third is the last major climb as it climbs straight up the mountain to the upper trail. There is a go around for this third climb if needed.Riding South to North, you would be going down all of the technical sections, which would probably put the difficulty at a 4 or 5.
