Trail Overview
Bailey #3349 is a fun but challenging dirt bike trail that begins on the west end at a marked intersection on the Highline ATV Trail. It descends eastward on a narrow path with small loose rocks through sagebrush fields, but quickly increases in technicality as it drops into a forested descent. It has frequent moderate rock obstacles, embedded boulders, and root bands, including some moderate drop-offs and tricky rock gardens. A particularly challenging section near the bottom of the descent includes a tall root ledge dug out and filled with boulders, which will be significantly more difficult on the way back up. Some small logs remain across the trail, though many have been cut. The trail is wider in the forest sections, so you can try to pick a good line through the rocks. Several unmarked intersections with game trails can be misleading, so a map is useful, though the main route is generally easy to follow. It parallels Bailey Creek, although it doesn't have any water crossings. The north end intersects with Forest Road #30400, which takes you to the Bailey Creek ATV trail. Overall, it's a pretty fun dirt bike trail for more experienced riders.

Difficulty
This is an advanced trail due to the steep descent full of embedded rock features, and multiple root and rock obstacles. The technical rock garden and root ledge at the lower end increase the challenge, particularly in the uphill direction.
