Trail Overview
North Wilson #3348 is a moderately difficult single track that begins at a marked intersection with the Highline ATV Trail on the west end, and descends eastward through tall vegetation and scenic aspen groves. The trail starts as a narrow path with a steep downhill grade, curving through the trees on mostly smooth dirt. As the trail continues, it becomes rockier in the middle section, with frequent embedded rocks and root bands that create small drop-offs and elevate the technical challenge. It's not covered in loose rocks, but the trail remains narrow and shelfy in places, with several tight turns along the descent. It becomes smoother and more flowy again near the bottom of the descent, though tall leafy brush can obscure visibility in overgrown spots. The route offers a mix of steep sections and flow, making it a solid intermediate trail with moderate challenges, really fun for most average riders.
Difficulty
This is an intermediate trail due to its steep downhill grade, frequent embedded rocks and roots, and shelfy narrow terrain. The overgrowth and tight turns also add some difficulty, but the main challenge is the narrowness and rocks.
