Trail Overview
Harrington Peak Access #5233 is an easy ATV trail that splits off from the midpoint of the Harrington Peak Trail and heads east toward Slug Creek Road. The route travels through pine forest on dry, dusty dirt with occasional grassy patches and scattered small loose rocks. It follows the contour of the mountainside like an old shelf road, with a gradual climb during the first half and a gentle descent on the backside. The trail curves frequently, especially along a fence line during the descent, but the elevation change remains mild throughout. This is a mellow and scenic route that connects easily with the main Harrington Peak trail for a short loop ride near the Green Basin staging area.
