Trail Overview
This is an odd little trail out through a valley outside of Arco. It's just off the main highway, and the turn-off is at a funny angle that is easily missed. If you are looking for dispersed camping, cross the cattle guard and make the right at the first Y in the trail. Just over the hill is a very nice little dispersed campsite. If you are just looking to poke around for some adventure or find a spot for lunch, continue straight at the Y. This trail gets a little rutted and then narrows in the juniper trees. Also, when you go through the juniper section, watch out for a few deep washout ruts across the trail that will eat your tires at speed and cause damage. The trail will open up again at some old cattle troughs. Would not recommend large vehicles or trailers on this trail beyond the cattle troughs. It does narrow again off into the hills and turns into tight sagebrush. Scratches are likely. The trail runs along a washout canyon and eventually becomes eroded. Smaller vehicles, or motos, might continue from the erosion point. There was no noticeable dispersed camping along this longer section of trail. There is a nice little open grassy area with a tree for shade for lunch. And the cattle trough area was quite open and nice as well. The best thing about this trail is the Y and the camping spot up to the right.

Difficulty
The beginning of the trail is rutted and a little off-camber. A couple of deep rut washouts in the juniper trees. The trail becomes very narrow with few turn-around points or areas to pull off for oncoming traffic.
