Trail Overview
This trail offers rock steps, loose washed out steep terrain, and a flowy single track that overlooks the Black Canyon. The trail can be done in either direction. Heading South from Ute Road toward Dinasour Road the trail is a fast single track that winds through the Juniper trees and offers great views of the Black Canyon. Eventually, you will have steep loose descents that are washed out from the rain. About halfway through there is an off-camber rock ledge that you need to get over. The potential for a fall is high here and can leave you and your bike much lower on the hillside. After this ledge, the next major obstacle is a loose rocky climb. This is much easier than the previous parts of the trail.
Difficulty
Loose dirt and rocks that can deflect your bike. Parts of the trail traverse a steep hillside.
