Trail Overview
This spur makes a loop off of Mule Mountain trail and Spur 2 for some extra mileage. It's an easy two-track with small loose rocks in the trail. It has a couple steep and loose hill climbs up through the oak bushes, and gets rocky and tight on the north end. It goes tightly between the bushes, with more embedded rocks, making a choppy surface. It only gains almost 300 feet in elevation in just under 2 miles, but the beginning and end are the steepest spots. This area is popular with hunters in the fall, and a great place for easy to moderate off-roading for vehicles 50" or less. This trail is open 5/15 - 11/30 for motorized use.
