History
The dam for Long Draw Reservoir was completed in 1929. Thirty years later the dam was expanded, flooding an additional 390 acres of the Roosevelt National Forest. Water for the reservoir comes from La Poudre Pass Creek, which flows out of Rocky Mountain National Park.
