Trail Overview

This 4-mile challenging dirt bike trail is full of rock sections, shelfy narrow sections, roots, and steep hill climbs and descents. If riding north to south, you will gain 1,500 feet over 4 miles, and mostly be climbing uphill. The north end starts out as a rocky two-track that crosses a couple of creeks that aren't super deep. The two track dead ends at the beginning of the singletrack and the trail instantly becomes full of rocks. It's shelfy too, with several hundred-foot sections of pure loose rock. There are roots mixed in with the rock too that make it extra challenging, especially when steep. The trail continues to climb up with a few switchbacks and then side-hills all the way up to 11,500 ft to a saddle and junction with Cameron Gulch and the southern portion of Gold Creek.
