Trail Overview
This almost 2-mile-long Connection trail steeply descends from the end of Middle Mountain down to the Monument Park East Road. The north end is more of a continuation of the Middle Mountain trail. It keeps descending towards the road on a rocky two-track between the pines and aspens, with loose softball-sized rocks in the trail, embedded rock surfaces, and tight curvy turns through the trees. It's a bumpy ride over all the rocks. There is a gate pinch point at the south end to prevent vehicles wider than 50" from entering the trail. This trail is open 5/15 - 11/30 for motorized use.

Difficulty
This is an intermediate trail due to steep sections of descent/climbing that are full of loose rocks that will make it difficult to maintain traction.
