Difficulty

Difficult. This rating applies to just the last part of trail. The first 4 miles is easy and uneventful. After that, the route gradually gets tougher and more interesting. Left at Waypoint 02 leads to a network of shelf roads that are narrow for Jeeps but perfect for ATVs, UTVs and dirt bikes.

Access Description

From Loveland: Take Highway 34 west and turn right on Highway 27 to Masonville. Turn left in Masonville and continue another 10.7 miles to Buckhorn Road 44H on left. Go west about 10 miles to Ballard Road on left. From Fort Collins: Follow directions for Old Flowers Road, Trail #14. Take Stove Prairie Rd. south 4 miles to 44H on right.
