Trail Overview

This is a point-to-point single-track trail with OHV use limited to dirt bikes only. There are narrow gates restricting the entry of larger vehicles at both ends. The trail surface is primarily dirt, but there are some short stretches of loose rock. There are also sections with ruts up to 2-3 feet deep, whoops up to 2 feet high, and tight vegetation. Long stretches of the trail run right along the hillside, with a sharp drop-off on one side, so be cautious. However, this will be rewarded with great views of the larger area and valley below. At the halfway point, there is the option to veer north on Arrastra OHV #121 towards the Frazier Mountain Lookout. If riding from east to west, the trail will be a bit more difficult as it steadily climbs 1600 ft over loose and sometimes steep terrain. It is closed annually from 11/2 - 4/30. A Green Sticker permit is required for dirt bikes. There is weak or no cellular phone service on most of the trail. Tread Lightly and Pack-It-Out.

There are short steep grades with ruts up to 2-3 feet deep and larger rocks. Flat sections will often have a series of closely spaced whoops up to 2 feet high.
