Trail Overview

A rugged backcountry route, Lee's Camp Road (AKA Upper Echo Canyon) climbs up out of Echo Canyon and Death Valley National Park to Amargosa, NV. It is a moderately difficult 13-mile trail with numerous rock waterfall obstacles that require high clearance, 4x4, and are best suited for skinny, short-wheelbase vehicles. There is no signal in this area and this is a remote road with very little traffic. Carry extra water, spare tires, and a satellite communicator. This trail is best run in Spring and Fall. Summer would be brutally hot for both man and machine, and this trail will occasionally be snowbound in winter as it climbs up to 4,900'. It was 109 degrees on April 27th, 2023 with no air movement.

High clearance is a must! Did it In a full size GMC Sierra on 35s. Your gonna want to keep your tire pressure anywhere from 14-18psi.
