This scenic route climbs almost 200 feet and drops over 200 feet in less than a mile, offering spectacular views of multiple Eastern Sierra peaks. The trail provides vistas of Laurel Mountain, Mini Morrison, Mount Morrison, Sherwin Mountain, the Minarets, Banner Peak, Mount Ritter, Mammoth Mountain, and other prominent Eastern Sierra mountains. The route includes a short rocky section and runs along a shelf road, creating dramatic elevated perspectives of the surrounding mountain landscape, but use caution.
