Trail Overview

This narrow, sandy single-track trail winds its way through a burnt pine forest, offering a haunting yet beautiful landscape shaped by fire and regrowth. The route is tight in many sections--single-vehicle width--with low-hanging branches that may brush or tap taller rigs. A few scattered rock features add variety, and several downed trees halfway through the trail have established bypasses where the path is otherwise blocked. Expect loose sand throughout, especially in shaded sections, and be prepared to engage 4WD if traction becomes an issue. Despite the fire damage, the trail holds a quiet beauty and is a great quick detour for those seeking solitude and a mild technical challenge.

Difficulty

While not especially technical, this trail does require high clearance due to soft sandy conditions and occasional rocky stretches. The tight width may make it less ideal for full-size vehicles, and tall rigs should watch for overhead tree limbs. The bypasses around downed trees are easy to spot but may be uneven or slightly off-camber. This is a good trail for those with some off-road experience looking for a short but engaging ride.
