The very dusty trail can have deep sand at times, and the very beginning of the south section features a very steep climb on a very sandy track, gaining over 300 feet in just 1/4 mile. There's one small rock garden at mile 1.7 from the north side.

Difficulty

This trail earns a low difficulty rating despite several challenging features. The very narrow trail has bushes on both sides that can pinstripe your vehicle, and it's full of whoops and washboards due to heavy side-by-side use. Be aware that there are very few places to turn around or pull over, requiring careful planning and awareness of oncoming traffic. There is a very steep hill on the North side of the trail.
