Trail Overview

Great trail to overlook the California Interstate 15. Pretty rad views. What starts out manageable quickly turns rough, with deep ruts, heavy erosion, and uneven surfaces that get chewed up after storms. Loose rock, sand, and washed-out sections are common and can make parts of the route very difficult or completely impassable, depending on recent weather. Traction changes constantly, especially on climbs and off-camber sections. Expect water damage and rutting in low spots. High-clearance 4x4s and well-equipped dual sport or dirt bikes only. Definitely check conditions before heading in unless you enjoy turning around mid-ride.
