Trail Overview

Fraser Flat Road East is a 7-mile point-to-point trail that climbs over 300 feet and drops just over 300 feet. The trail is made of white crushed gravel and is 1 to 1.5 vehicles wide. It winds through the Stanislaus National Forest, cutting through mature pine forest and occasional open areas. Several sections follow shelf roads, offering views of the surrounding valleys and, at points, Beardsley Lake Reservoir. The trail can get dusty, and there are occasional potholes along the route. Part of the east section is restricted to non-OHV traffic.

This trail starts at Fraser Flat Campground at the intersection of FS 4N42 and FS 4N13 and ends at private land owned by Sierra Pacific Industries. The trail is point-to-point and 1 to 1.5 vehicles wide.
