Trail Overview

This compact sand trail is about one vehicle wide and quickly introduces you to ruts and off-camber sections, especially near the start. As it winds through a sparse but beautiful pine forest, the route is lined with small bushes, scattered pine trees, and some interesting rock formations. Along the loop, you're treated to scenic views of the Eastern Sierra mountains. While most of the track is straightforward, there are a few low-hanging tree branches that taller vehicles may brush against, as well as a handful of wide but low rock ledges to drive over. The side of the loop, closest to the highway, includes a slightly off-camber section where high clearance is recommended.
