This sandy single-vehicle-wide trail connects Alpers Canyon (Upper 2S42) with Bald Mountain Road via FS2S123, making it a scenic and functional connector route. This is an easy-to-moderate trail suitable for stock 4x4 vehicles with decent clearance. Traction is typically good unless it's wet, at which point the soft sand and meadow-adjacent segments can become slippery.
