Trail Overview
Climbs up from McGee Canyon Road. It begins with a gradual ascent, offering stunning views along the way. The trail then descends into a picturesque forest of pines and aspens. Towards the end, the trail narrows, with trees lining both sides. There are also very low overhead branches which may obstruct your progress. Be mindful of downed trees pushed to the side that may obstruct the path. This trail connects with 29e103/1S16A (two names for the same track) to join the Sawmill Crossover trail. Fall colors make this trail stunning during the fall season.

Difficulty
The very beginning off of McGee Canyon Rd climbs and goes around the knoll. This is an off-camber section. The trail is mostly sandy. Be careful of a few unseen bumpy but small drop-offs. After you cross 29e103, there are very narrow sections with trees on both sides as well as overhead. Some downed tree trunks also narrow the path.
