Trail Overview

This is a short dirt bike trail - less than half a mile long - but easy and ideal for riders of all skill levels. The south end of this trail starts out with some loose rocks on a wide surface, between oak trees and dry grass, going past a big slash pile. The trail is smooth for much of the rest of the route, curving between the trees, and going through a couple of previously cut logs. The trail is lined with bear clover, with a few rutted sections, but nothing difficult. It remains gradual for the whole route, ending on a forest service road near the entrance to the next single track 15EV63.

Access Description

The Interface OHV Trail System is located in the Stanislaus National Forest near the town of Arnold, California. To get here, go north of Highway 4 towards the community of White Pines and White Pines Lake. Go past the White Pines day use area, and continue onto FS 7N08, which will take you directly to the staging area. This recreation area has ample parking, porta potties, and several primitive camp spots with picnic tables. There are more camp spots and staging areas along FS 5N52. The trails here are open from April 15 - December 15, but it gets very dry and dusty here in the summer, so spring and fall are the best times to visit.
