Wolf Ridge

Did this trail about 5-6 months ago and it was technical then but now with all the rain washout that has hit the area over the last month it has become even worse. We had a total of 5 rigs 3 Tacomas 1 Tundra and my Zr2. I was the only one that got up under my own power at the technical rock section do to just having lockers. The Tundra made it up after stacking and unstacking rocks multiple times and he hit diff and drive shaft. All 3 Tacomas had to get pulled up. I highly recommend going with capable rigs and having winches installed. This trail is rated as a 6 i believe but is probably more like a 7-8 now.

Open to prison fence junction from the south. Trail is more technical than described here IMO. Likely been dug out / eroded by heavy use. JKUR w/ 3 in lift, 34" tires, sway bar disco and lockers... diffs drug in a couple places, nearly needed to winch in one spot but got thru with rock stacking. Dont go alone and be prepared for breakdowns.

Beginning of trail taken from Hwy 215 N. about 1/4 of Trail is the hard part and it says a 6/10 but some spots due to use I think now it might be a 7/10. Steep hill climbs with Big and loose rocks as well as a deep mud pit. (does have a bypass) We have a 2.5inch spacer lift on 35s and scraped a few times on skids but with good wheel placement you can avoid hitting diff. After all the harder stuff 3/4 of Trail is easy but kinda tight as you are weaving thru trees because of a lot of down trees on what used to be the main Trail.

Trees down every where with a lot across the trail. Some have been cut but a large portion had not. Made it through with a stock gladiator rubicon but drug a lot. Do not suggest doing this alone.
