Trail Overview
Explore this Jeep Badge of Honor trail in Hot Springs Off-Road Park, a versatile OHV area catering to all levels of off-road enthusiasts. This favorite trail begins with a thrilling 5-minute downhill descent on loose gravel, navigating ledges ranging from one to two feet in some sections. The first 0.5 miles present a steep elevation drop of over 600 feet, featuring large loose rocks and 1-2 foot ledges. The middle portion consists of hard-packed dirt with ruts and gravel, while at 1.5 miles, there's a 70-foot elevation gain with a technical hill climb, including large rock veins and 1-2 foot ledges, with a bypass option. Wind through the woods, maneuvering around trees, ups, and downs, creating an exciting experience for riders. An action-packed and challenging adventure, this trail requires tires of at least 32 inches with an aggressive tread, while a locking rear differential is recommended. The trail starts at a scenic overlook and concludes around Prothane Point, offering another pleasant overlook with picnic tables and shade trees for a well-deserved break.
