Trail Overview
This shortcut links Brock 25 to Brock 23 and provides a bailout from the longer 23 loop. The route begins with a sizeable log obstacle, followed by a creek crossing and a demanding hill climb. It moves quickly through dense forest, with a mostly defined track that becomes overgrown in sections. Tight corners and a layer of slippery leaves add to the difficulty. The logs can be slippery, and it's important to always approach them straight on. The shallow stream crossing is manageable, with flat, smooth rocks. There is a notable ascent with embedded rocks and a deep trough and rock slab topped with a 6-inch ledge that may pose a challenge for newer riders. Careful line choice is critical to avoid being funneled right into the trough. This trail appears less trafficked, and although it has a few more technical features, it is a fun connector trail.
