Trail Overview

This trail starts at the west end with a wet and muddy stretch, winding through small rocks and rooty patches. Expect puddles and ruts up to a foot deep--picking the high points is key. Scattered small logs require a bit of technical handling, and steep little climbs add to the challenge as the trail curves along the hillsides. There is a rocky uphill section with lots of cobble, followed by a scenic creek crossing next to a small waterfall on the side of the trail. The trail continues back to the main gate of the recreation area near Highway 7, connecting to the campground and day use zones. It also goes past an intersection with a short connector trail that will take you down to Trail A. This trail is an easy start or end to your ride through Moccasin Gap.
