Trail Overview
After you enter the gate you go through a little sand and take a left and head to the Sawtooth Mountains. Continue on the trail past the Entering Monument Lands Ironwood Forest National monument. Wonderful scenery as you travel an easy trail. After you seem to be clearing the mountains you will go right and go up a steep incline (Widow Makers Pass) stop at the top and look at the view. After going down the pass you have many off-shoot trails you can explore all with different degrees of difficulty. On our trip, we saw some Wild Cat scat and prints. This is a stunning area and not very traveled so take your time and enjoy.
