Trail Overview

This trail rides along the desert floor north of Vicksburg, Arizona, riding through barren fields of cactus and creosote bushes. The trail parallels a wash, and you can see lots of RVs camped in the distance, as this is a popular camping area. The trail enters a wash that is a mix of small loose rocks and sand, lined with paloverde trees. The wash narrows in spots, lined with short dirt walls, with a few embedded rock layers in the wash that make it more unique. There are some split lines in the wash, and it crosses a dirt road at one point. The trail continues in the wash as it goes south until it reaches a dirt road on the edge of BLM land and private property.
