Sunshine - Temple Trails Interconnect

Trail Overview

This is a fun way to get from either the Sunshine or Temple Trail to the other. Along the way there are side trails or other routes to explore. For example, the East Mesa Wash provides an interesting experience for appropriate vehicles. The route provides views of some majestic mountains with the classic southern Utah color layers. There is also an area with small pieces of gypsum along the sides of the trail. Keep an eye out on the eastern half for the sparkle of the gypsum.

Difficulty

This is an unmaintained trail that has rocks, rocky areas, washed and other obstacles but none are large. Most high clearance vehicles should be able to traverse the route.
