Trail Overview
The Section 5 Trail starts off of the Williamson Valley Road--the main dirt superhighway that cuts through the Prescott National Forest. While it starts down in the open grassland pasture area, this trail makes its way up into the foothills that are covered with juniper trees and burberry bushes. There is only one main obstacle on this trail that could potentially cause an issue: a wash crossing with a steep entrance and exit (photo included for reference) but it's actually not that bad. There is some erosion along the trail but nothing like the major washouts in other sections of the forest. The trail culminates in a wooded area that provides water for cattle and wild game.

Difficulty
This is an unmaintained road with one obstacle, a wash with steep entrances and exits that could prove problematic after a moisture event.
