Ranch House Bypass

Trail Overview

An easy rocky terrain double track that is a slower going route that bypasses the main track that goes past the ranch house on the way to and from the upper burro creek area. This is an excellent way to see cattle and other wildlife that hang around the water tanks the ranch sets up. No unique obstacles, just some regular rocky roads that will have some slower sections. I had no service this entire trek (T-Mobile). There are volcanic rock sections, so watch your sidewalls.

Difficulty

Unmaintained trail, some rocky sections will be challenging for low-clearance vehicles. Volcanic rock sections will pose issues for sidewalls. Other than that an easy dirt road with plenty of scenery.
