Trail Overview

Pleasant Burro Drive begins at the OHV staging area just off the Backway to Crown King trail and follows a gravel and rocky route overlooking Lake Pleasant. The trail is generally easy to navigate but includes a few lightly washed-out sections along the way. Several short side paths lead down toward the lake shoreline, where previous visitors have established small campfire areas. The route offers scenic views of the lake and surrounding desert terrain, and it is common to see wild burros roaming the area. This trail makes a great option for a relaxed overland trip, sunset views over the water, or a day of fishing along the lake.
