Trail Overview

P5007 goes from 3456 on the North side (via connector P5004A) to 160 on the South end. Overall, this trail is not too difficult except for a couple of gatekeeper hill climbs on the North end. These will take some effort to get up due to a few step-ups in the rocky terrain. After these climbs, you go through a section with brush and shrubbery on either side that will scrape your arms a bit before entering a burned section and then finishing up the trail in a wash that is a bit whooped out. Other than the gatekeeper at the beginning (which should not be underestimated), this is a pretty mild trail in comparison to others in the area! About halfway along this trail, you will pass by P5008, which heads to the West - you will know the intersection by a tree that is adorned with parts from bikes that the trails have taken over time.*Note* This trail combines P5007A and P5007B based on the MVUM as of Sept. 2021.
