Trail Overview

This is a single-lane gravel road that is rated as a class 2. A straight flat road leads out to a finger that is flat and with dispersed camping that has shaded trees during those hot summer days. Beautiful views and starry night skis allow for a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.

Access Description

From Jacob Lake follow Highway 67 towards the entrance of the Grand Canyon North Rim. Dumonte Campground will be on the right side of the highway. The East rim trail will be shortly after that and will turn to the left. Marble Canyon Overlook and Saddle Mountain will turn to the right and are marked with a sign. Just pass the Arizona trailhead parking Marble Canyon Overlook will turn to the left.
