Trail Overview
This long loop trail through the mountains is a visually stunning way to spend a few hours. The mountainous terrain is spectacular. The trail gains and loses elevation, twists along, and is bumpy in sections. Much of the route follows high-voltage power lines and numerous areas where you pop over the hill, revealing breathtaking views of the trail below. There are long, rocky steep sections and even a few loose climbs. What goes up also comes down; expect steep ascents as well. Airing down is highly recommended, as the rocky terrain could make quick work of a fully aired-up tire damaging the sidewall. Running this trail aired down will also aid in your traction and potentially not tear up the trail. The southern section of the trail travels through a long rocky wash and has spectacularly eroded tall sides. Keep your eyes peeled for plenty of great camping options and fire rings. A few bars of LTE cell reception fade in and out on this route.

Difficulty
Being in a mountainous area, this trail has long, loose, steep hill climbs followed by equally steep downhill descents. Parts of the trail are also quite rocky and take some careful navigation.
