Trail Overview
This is a fun rocky trail through the Hualapai mountains. It is not marked with width designations and lacks trail markers, so you may see wider vehicles out here, although it is supposed to be for dirt bikes only. The north end starts out in a wide sandy wash between tall bushes, and it climbs up a loose rocky hill. It meanders through the tall pinyon trees with lots of loose rock, going through a cattle gate that you must keep closed. The route is pretty easy to follow, with a few dirt bike tracks, but it is not very trafficked. There are lots of big dips and erosion, including sections with deep ruts where you want to pick the high points of the trail. It goes through a really scenic valley below the towering Hualapai mountains. As you go south, it opens up out of the trees with some dark slab rock in the trail, like ramped rock ledges that are more volcanic-looking, and you get really wide-open views.
