FS 83

Trail Overview

The trail turns south off Highway 188 near Roosevelt Lake. This route is a smooth and wide road that leads to a ranch at the end. Please be aware of animals. There are signs up towards the end of the trail stating no camping due to a watering hole nearby. When looking south, you do get great views of Roosevelt Lake and the mountains behind it. Towards the end of the trail, you will drop into a wash, so be cautious when entering the area during rain.

The trail is a wide, smooth road that can be done in a high-clearance 2WD vehicle. There is plenty of room to pass another vehicle, and there are no obstacles.
