Trail Overview

This one vehicle-wide trail features lots of rocks throughout and goes in and out of a few rock washes as it navigates the terrain. The trail is within federal reclamation lands and has been reformed in spots due to water and rock washes coming down from the nearby Trigo Mountains. You'll encounter one rock obstacle with a drop off of 12 to 18 inches that demands attention and careful line choice. The trail is lined with brush, including desert gulf trees and desert lavender, adding greenery to the rocky landscape. The proximity to the Trigo Mountains creates a dramatic backdrop as water flows from the mountains and continues to reshape sections of this dynamic route.

Difficulty

This trail is more technical than most in the area due to the abundant rocks and the rock obstacle with a 12 to 18 inch dropoff. The washes require careful navigation, and the reformed sections from water flow can be unpredictable. The narrow width and rocky surface demand attention throughout, making this a more challenging route that requires high clearance and skilled driving.
